3 Panel Canvas Painting

I had a pack of three canvases for almost a year. I was not really sure what type of painting I had in my mind when I bought these canvases. Someday finally I sat down and googled few paintings on canvas. This painting is similar from internet. Only thing I changed is , I tried to give it a 'Happy Feeling' than the dull one.

I am neither professional painter nor did I learned painting . It is my hobby and I try to be creative always.

Here are the steps I performed while completing the painting.

1. Apply water on canvas using brush.  This helps the colours to spread easily on canvas giving the painting smooth texture and look.

2. Now start giving effects by mixing colours. I did the base coat of basic colours red, yellow and blue on three canvases.

3. Then before the base coat gets dry start mixing and applying the colours to give that corner effect and mixing effect.

4. Then I have drawn the tree branch and birds with pencil.

5.  Here in the last step I completed the painting by using black colour to paint branch and birds. 

   

One of my friends put this concept of painting together into words saying " two birds ( who r in love) on the branch and their love is growing and getting matured during the phases of day like from dawn to evening".  Loved the way she said it.
